Bernice H. Klaus, 96, of Robinson, IL passed away at 9:42 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the Heritage Health Center, Robinson, IL. Born on February 1, 1919 in Treloar, MO., Bernice was the daughter of Walter Buescher and Olga (Ackman) Buescher. On July 6, 1946 she married Urban Klaus and he preceded her in death on September 8, 1987.
Bernice was a homemaker and an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan.
Bernice is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Karen and Russell Bennett, Everett, WA; a daughter-in-law Sandra “Sandy” Klaus, Oblong, IL.; three grandchildren and spouses John and Katie Bennett, Brett and Jason Spore, all of Seattle, WA.; and Robert and Crystal Bennett, Bothell, WA.; five great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
Bernice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Ron Klaus on November 4, 2014; three brothers James, Edgar and Call Buescher; a sister Helen Benz; a step-daughter Betty Coleman; a step-son Edward Klaus; and a sister-in-law Gerry Buescher.
